This is the first of many blogs to come in the future. The content will be about healthy eating habits, workout routines that our staff has put together for our group fitness (group functional) and safe and effective ways to use some of out specialty equipment. I have been an avid fan of our group functional workouts for many years, actually gaining muscle over the past few years, which was my goal since I was a scrawny six foot two inches tall and weighing only 165. Now I weigh around 200. I recently had double hernia surgery and the surgeon said no workouts for three weeks and it will take you eight weeks to get back to working out at full strength. The surgeon was wrong. I was able to start working out within two weeks and back to doing the full workout with the rest of the group. Obviously since I was in very good shape before the surgery I was able to recover faster than most people. Come in and try one of our group functional classes for free!
